The project is a day care centre for phyically or mentally challenged adults from the local community which was originally constructed by SA Breweries in 1999. They have various activities including beadmaking, gardening, a tuck shop & kitchen and school, and the centre is managed by Simon Ndlovu.

The project has been identified as one of Eskom Kusile’s CSI projects in the area, and BCA have sponsored the provision of bread for all the member of the project, 5 days a week, for a year.

BCA "DOUBLES IN SIZE" - What we mean is, having acquired a residence and converted it to offices some years ago at 57 First Avenue, Linden in Johannesburg, BCA has grown to the point where these offices are now "straining at the seams." In 2008 BCA purchased the neighbouring residence - no. 59 - and this too has been converted to offices; so it is our accommodation that has now "doubled in size" The staff complement of BCA is on the way to doubling its strength, as demonstrated in this newsletter.
